No. Alertica only sees file metadata - things like file names, sizes, and timestamps. We never access, read, or store the actual contents of your files. This ensures your sensitive data remains completely private and secure.
Alertica offers two monitoring methods:
1. External monitoring via FTP, which observes file activity without any installation.
2. On-premise monitoring via a lightweight script installed on your servers.
Both methods only track file attributes (such as size, creation date, modification time) without accessing actual file contents.
No. Since Alertica operates through FTP and only tracks file attributes, there's no installation required and zero impact on your server's performance. Our external monitoring approach means we don't consume any of your server's resources.
